| Tar Hollow State Park is one of the best places to go squirrel, deer and even turkey hunting. Though there is a decent lake, with a beach (for summer fun), Tar Hollow offers some nice camping, even during the deer gun season.
Reasonable rates, and spaces abound.I have found Tar Hollow to serve my purpose for the tree rat hunting, and even have seen and taken some nice deer out of that park in years past.
Below you will find a link to the parks site, and get all of the other info you are looking for.I rate this park at a 6.7 for its offerings of everything, and the deer it holds.Tar Hollow State Park |
