congradulations to wolvie and joey on thier harvest this season and to all that have taken a deer so far !! just heard that that the harvest rate is up 12% from last year. save some for me guys and gals, geesh!! lol! didnt get to gun hunt this year for the lack of weapon, but its all good still have the trusty bow. ill be hittin it hard in a week or so . so hats off to all that were lucky and the best of luck for those still huntin!

Well don't give up bro,..there's plenty out there,but Ohio's weather is crazy again this year.

%'s for deer this year are up and they are up considerabliy compared to last years numbers at this time last year.
I just got a email from ODNR stating that 33,000 + deer were harvested on Monday,where last year there were only 19,000+ deer harvested on opening day.

I also want to send out congrads to all that were able to get out and harvest a deer this year and for those that haven't gotten out yet,don't give up,and remember there's an extra weekend after this.
I want to also say BE SAFE,...one hunter so far has died this gun season as a result of falling out of his tree stand.
Remember to use your safety harnesses and make sure it fits you and will hold your weight as should your stand.
