Hello everyone, got to go check out another nice public wildlife area,..and let me tell ya,..this is a real nice place and HUGE too !!

Here's the short bio on the property:
WOLF CREEK WILDLIFE AREA
LOCATED IN: Morgan Co.
ACRES / SIZE OF LAND TRACK: 3,764 acres
CLICK ON PICS TO MAKE THEM BIGGER:

There are no pictures of this area as of yet,..but be rest assured there will be.

SPECIAL ATTRIBUTES : This area has alot of animal activity and alot of nice scenery.
While visiting this area late afternoon Saturday I saw a nice buck and a doe,as I was pulling into a parking area.
As I drove through the area I saw more deer and alot of squirrels. This area has a target range and from what I gathered & observed there is no charge to sight in your gun or your crossbow etc.

I would say this though,..make sure you have a good running vechicle, full tank of gas and possible 4x4 due to the steep roads and if theres any snow or ice you'll need the 4x4.Most of the roads are graveled, and the reminder are blacktop,on the main routes.

There are corn fields present and most are cut and others are left uncut as if they were left for deer populations and other animals to feed on.
This area is by no means a place to overlook. But you will need to scout this area out ,I plan on going down to Wolf Creek on Thursday (Thanksgiving Day).I will update about the area then and upload pics of the area as well.(PIC are above now 11/28/08)

DISTANCE from the following towns and cities are as follows:
COLUMBUS to Wolf Creek : approx. 85 miles
From Zanesville 32 miles,
From Akron Ohio 138 miles,
and FROM Marietta Ohio 45 miles

ROUTES and ROADS that travel by or through the area:
St Rt 78 ,St Rt 555, St Rt 377, St Rt 37, Co Rd 13, Co Rd 101, Township Rd 355,Township Rd 104.
A small town "ROSSEAU" is right spack dab in the middle of this area.
I rate this area a 8.5 I will go higher if I harvest a turkey and a couple deer this year.
