I am very proud of our Mayor here in Columbus.
Mayor Michael Coleman is setting a standard that our Govenor,and President Elect should follow.

Cut the raises OR cut jobs,..it's simple it's fair.

I know that people that work for local goverments and federal goverments make some awsome money,and also have a outstanding benefits package,..so in my eyes they could stand to go a year or so without a pay raise.

Most private sectors (Us ,Blue Collar NON-Goverment employed), can't afford a benefits package let alone a cut in our wages.
I figure this much,..it was the goverment that got us into this recession,..they should get us out without us having to pay for it.Now to most goverment workers they won't agree with me,...but hey it's like I am always told " It's the Nature of the Beast" !

Hey and may with a cut in pay they will finally earn what they are worth,..or if you look at it this way,..at least they get paid to hold a shovel up (Still), or sit behind a warm,clean desk all day (still).

With all the crap we have all had to put up with lately with the cost of gas mostly and now the cost of a 12 pak of Pepsi,and etc,..we need less headaches and heartaches,..
As i stated already,The goverment got us into this recession,they can get us out WITHOUT anymore COST to us !!
So if you work for the goverment,..Sorry,..But that's the nature of he Beast of working for the goverment.
