any one know were to find ground hogs

bowhunt . just take a drive and stop and ask at most any farm . i dont know to many farmers that deny a man to hunt groundhogs , unless they have others shooting them . or you dont present yourself properly . be kind , dont dress all up in cammo, and dont interfere with them when they are working in the field . hope this helps . where are you from . h

Be respectful and timing is everything.
Also most farmers are okay with bowhunters (crossbows too), more then gun hunters. Due to the fact they (farmers) are working in the field (s).
And if I may ask,..what will you do with the ground hogs you harvest?
Young ground hogs are usually good,..but the older ones are very greasy and tough.

Using the meat from the older ground hogs for coyote hunting could be an idea, as bait.Also cutting the meat up in small pieces also makes for some good catfish bait and muskie bait.
