I would like to try my hand at hunting Hogs this spring. Looking at the ODNR maps the populations in Vinton/Hocking counties look promising. Anyone have any suggestions or areas they have seen Hog in this area?

I myself haven't seen any hogs or even signs of any for that matter. It seems it may be a 1 in a million chance at seeing any hogs in any area other then a private hunting area or canned hunting facility.
I do wish you luck in finding some hogs.
But if u do get a chance to hunt one and harvest it please post a story of how u got it and a picture of it.

We hunt in Washington County(Marietta) some what in the area your talking about. One of the guys we hunt with has an 100 acre farm. I have yet to see any hogs or have hear anyone seeing any around the area. I wish you luck and let us know if how you do.

There's a new member on the site that goes by Brad Brown and I think he knows where to get some hogs, give him a shout (PM), maybe he can help ya out.
