Allow me to start off by stating the obvious,...I am not a farmer.
Even though I may think I am by planting tomatoes and cucumbers and green peppers,etc,...I am CLUELESS when it comes to the who's and wherefors for corn and soybean.

On my route today,I noticed farmers in the filed cutting corn and soybean,..from Lockbourne Ohio to Chilicothe,to Hillsboro I saw corn being cut and soybean as well.

So why am I telling you all this?DEER,..Archery season starts Saturday and now with fileds being cut deer can be seen feeding on the leftovers in the fileds.
And this helps when scouting,cause now you can see them in the field instead of assuming there may be deer in the field.

I wanted to pass it on to those of you who havent been able to get out of city limits yet.

Hello All,
For those of you who havent been able to get out in the fileds or woods yet,..
Alot of the corn and soybean has been cut.

Though there are still alot to still be harvested,fields are being cut as we speak,or type lol !

I thought I would pass that little tidbit on to ya all.

Through my state journeys in the past couple weeks I am seeing more and more fileds being cut.
And I am seeing more deer found on the side of the roads dead.

I would have to say that in Ohio most crops are cut,about or at least 90 - 95 % of them are cut.

Small fileds are still up in a few areas I venture through on a daily basis.I have also seen alot of Bucks laying on the side of the roads.And what makes me even more ticked off is to see them DE-Antered by some sick-O !!!

I do NOT see how someone can come along a road kill and rob that animal of its body parts?!!

Harvesting one in the woods is one thing but to gain a trophy by an animals demise is just a sick -O thing to me.And pure laziness on that persons part.

But anyways thats my update for this series.
