just because the hunting season is over,(except for Spring Turkey season) but anywho,this time of year is a good time to get out and practice,and for those of you who got to hunt this year under the "Apprentice Program",..now is also the time to study the Hutner Safety Program and now that you have a little more time you can spend at least a 1/2 hour to and 1 hour day on it and have mom,dad, or friends and other family members test ya.

Studing will keep your mind fresh and you gain more knowledge about the use of firearms,bows,field dressing games, etc.

You can download a copy of the "Study At Home" pdf Hunter Safety document at the ODNR site.
Download it to your computer and open it and read and study.If you can afford to print it all out go for it.
I use it everyday and I read it alot,one becasue i have 3 boys starting out in this and I am helping 2 of their friends get into hunting.So I got 5 guys to teach all this.So I have to knopw what I am teaching them.
PARENTS you could do this for your kids,or family meembers or scout groups etc.
